I would love more natural trails. Connemara is the only place that really has that. Wish they could purchase some of the McDermott property to extend it out and restore some of that prairie. There also another wetland area that would be amazing to have trail access to.
Actually a wetland boardwalk trail or something similar would be very cool and is very much needed.

This is the most important part of Allen's trails. As the city continues to develop less and less greenspace exists now. Allen should be enhancing and protecting the greenery we have, or expanding on it. Trails are no fun in the blazing heat and surrounded by too much concrete after all!

Keep as many trees as possible, and save as much money as possible. Its a sidewalk, not an aesthetic branding symbol.

This is a reason why we also need to consider soft and even narrow spur trails which would help minimize the disruption of our natural areas.

Our Greenbelts, wooded areas and open spaces are legacies to be passed on to the next generations. Once lost, they are nearly impossible to recover. Our trails should invite us into these natural areas where we can enjoy and appreciate the web life that we need to preserve.
