Alese, I spoke to the Assistant Director of Parks and Rec over maintenance. He confirmed that it's still an active construction site, so the contractor is responsible for upkeep. He will reach out and address it with them. Please feel free to reach out directly if it doesn't get taken care of in a timely manner and I'll look into more. Thank you!

Overgrown area along Mustang Creek Trail
From "Heritage Park North"
Go to the project
Hi - There is an area of the Mustang Creek Trail that has gone unmown for a little over a year while the improvements were made to the sewer, street and trail on the west side of Heritage Park South. The grass and weeds are 3+ feet tall in some areas. It looks like maybe it was excluded from landscape work while the improvements were being made but now that the improvement work is complete, the growth in that little area is out of control. Just wanted to bring that to someone's attention. Thanks!

Hi Alese, thank you for letting us know. I'll find out which department is responsible for mowing that area and give you and update as soon as possible.

Thank you so much Erin! I have noticed that the area has been mown in the past week, so the contractor must have caught up on their checklist of things to complete. All good. Thanks again!
