
2023 Bond Information and Resources
On Nov. 7, 2023, voters approved four propositions to repair streets, enhance police facilities, revitalize downtown and make improvements to Ford Park by issuing General Obligation (GO) bonds totaling $155,000,000 with no projected increase to the City tax rate.
Election results are unofficial until canvassed by City Council on Tuesday, Nov. 14 at 7 p.m. Unofficial election results are produced directly from the County Elections Administration’s tabulation system.
City of Allen will publish the final combined Early Voting and Election Day unofficial election results at CityofAllen.org/Elections.

Public workshops & input gathering
Public Kickoff Meeting
On Monday, May 22, participants attended a public kickoff meeting to learn how bond funding works and listen to a brief overview of each subcommittee. After the main meeting, participants selected the subcommittee in which they will participate throughout this process.

Public workshops and tours
Bond Subcommittees will hold regular public workshops or go on tours during this phase to learn about, discuss and gather public input about proposed bond items.
Workshops are currently planned to be held on the following dates:
- Thursday, May 25 (The Public Safety Subcommittee, Parks & Downtown Subcommittee and Public Art Subcommittee will meet elsewhere for offsite tours at this time. Visit their project pages to learn more.)
- Thursday, June 1 (The Parks & Downtown Subcommittee will meet elsewhere for an offsite tour at this time. Visit their project page to learn more. The Public Art Subcommittee will not meet at this time.)
- Thursday, June 8 (The Parks & Downtown Subcommittee and Public Art Subcommittee will meet elsewhere for offsite tours at this time. Visit their project page to learn more.)
- Monday, June 12 (The Finance Subcommittee will meet in the Council Conference Room at Allen City Hall for discussion. Other subcommittees will not meet on this date.)
Unless otherwise stated, meetings will be held at 7 p.m. at the Allen ISD STEAM Center (1680 Ridgeview Drive, Allen, TX 75013).
Anyone can attend these meetings to learn about potential projects, provide feedback and collaborate to help set priorities for potential bond funding.
