Allen 2045: Comprehensive Plan Update

During this phase, City Council, the Planning & Zoning Commission and City of Allen staff will work together to prepare guiding principles and a vision statement for the Comprehensive Plan update. Allen residents are invited to a community event (March 28) during this phase that offers the chance to provide thoughts and feedback to planners. 

UPDATE 4/2: 

Thank you to everyone who came out to the first community planning meeting on Thursday, March 28! We collected and recorded some amazing input from those who could attend - but want to make sure everyone has the chance to share their feedback on the Comprehensive Plan vision statement and guiding principles. 

A draft vision statement was shared during this meeting, and your feedback will help planners refine it into a vision that will help guide Allen into the future.

Draft Vision Statement:

Allen thrives as a vibrant, safe, and fiscally responsible City for residents and visitors alike.

Its attractive destinations, highly educated population, expansive parks and trails, employment opportunities, and central location in the North Texas Region make Allen a desirable community for people from all walks of life.
